PREGNANT drug mule Bella Culley will have her baby inside a prison cell after agreeing to serve two years in a Georgia jail.

Bella, 19, has pleaded guilty to importing a huge stash of cannabis from Thailand to the former Soviet state and struck a deal to walk free with prosecutors.

Her bid to walk free from jail was dashed after her family failed to raise cash for a £215,000 plea bargain deal.

They were given until  October 28 to raise the full amount before the judge imposes a jail term on November 2.

Bella’s charity worker mum Lyanne Kennedy, 44, and oil rig technician dad Niel Culley, 49, have been desperately attempting to borrow cash but admitted they had fallen short.

Niel handed over 500,000 Georgian Lari (£140,000) today in a plea bargain deal that will see Judge Giorgi Gelashvili sentence Bella for two years in prison, Daily Mail reports.

This means the Brit teen will now give birth to her baby boy behind bars in a grim Georgian jail.

The Brit teen today appeared in court wearing a grey cardigan and a pink top.

She was surprised after hearing she must serve two years in jail.

Prosecutor Vakhtang Tsalugelashvili told the Tbilisi City Court that a plea bargain was reached after her payers paid the partial amount in exchange for two years of imprisonment for Bella.

Defending lawyer Salakaia urged the judge to release Bella on grounds of her pregnancy after she pleaded guilty and “fully cooperated” with the investigation.

“We would like to ask the judge to release her on bail, given her advanced pregnancy,” they said.

But Judge Gelashvili replied: “There are no legal grounds for changing her conditions, I am afraid.”

Bella claimed she was tricked into trafficking 31lb of cannabis from Bangkok Airport in May after being burned with an iron and shown beheading videos by a Thai drug gang.

The father of her child is believed to be a British man she met earlier on another leg of her far East backpacking trip.

She is due to give birth before Christmas.

Bella is understood to have asked her lawyer Giorgi Gelashvili if she will be able to take her baby to jail.

To which the lawyer said: “Nobody is going to take the baby away from you.”
